Topterra has been a member of the Legro Group for some years now, a family business in growing media now headed by the fourth generation. We are looking to the future with a healthy ambition and enthusiasm. Our goal in the coming years is to continue our rapid rate of growth.
This goal requires a strong brand linked to a clearly identifiable image, recognized both nationally and internationally. This is why, Topterra Holland B.V., as a company name, will change to Legro Mushroom Casing Solutions while retaining the name Topterra as product name, also on packaging.
What will this change mean to you? Apart from the company name and logo there will be no change at all.
The friendly people, collaboration, product, quality and service will stay the same as you are used to.
If you still have questions left please do not hesitate to contact the team at Legro Australia.
On behalf of all of us at Topterra,
With kind regards

Legro Bronze Sponsor at Global Berry Congress
Rotterdam 27th to 29th March 2017
More than 350 important players from the world of blueberries and other soft fruit will be meeting one another at the Global Berry Congress in Rotterdam from Monday 27 March until Wednesday 29 March. Various speakers will share their expertise during the congress in the WTC. Legro is closely involved in this congress as a Bronze Sponsor because we have a lot of experience and expertise in the cultivation of blueberries and other soft fruit in substrates. Our blueberry substrate has proved that you can grow blueberries in the same pot and the same substrate for at least six to eight years. So there is no need for you to repot your plants or to supplement or replace your substrate.
We look forward to seeing you at our stand (number 8)!
If you are interested but unable to attend the congress and visit us, please let us know and we will gladly welcome you on a different day. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. See Legro NL web site www.legro.nl

Legro will has launched its 4th generation coir substrate, Legro Coir Air-Line. What’s new is that the familiar Legro strawberry coir has been enhanced with perlite, making it more porous, more stable and more suitable for use for several seasons. Perlite is expanded volcanic rock that makes the mixture airier and ensures better drainage. Combined with the properties of effectively buffered coco coir it ensures a mixture that remains stable for a long time, enabling growers to control their crops’ development more accurately.
Very porous and stable for a long time The addition of perlite makes Legro Coir Air-Line a porous, stable growing medium with which growers can promote generative growth in the first phase of their crops’ development. The medium retains little water in later phases too, preventing the risk of a too wet substrate during critical periods. Growers of soft fruit, in particular strawberries and raspberries, need an airy, stable growing medium that drains well, especially in the later phases of their perennial crops.
